Valentine’s Day in Chicago – Drink, Eat, Dance!
In Latin America, Valentine’s Day reaches far beyond one’s spouse, significant other or weekly salsa partner. The day is known as Día del Amor y la Amistad, meaning “The Day of Love and Friendship,” in many Latin nations and is a day for showing affection for all of your friends, including your special someone. In the great nation of Peru, some give their loved ones orchids for the holiday; while in Colombia prefer to give gifts anonymously, creating a secret admirer atmosphere on the day.
Here at Nacional 27, we’re looking to treat our favorite couples (and friends!) to a night of delicious Latin entrees, smooth champagne, live music and complimentary salsa lessons. The four course pre-fixe menu will include starters, tapas, an entrée and a homemade dessert from Chef Chico. Each couple will have two glasses of Moet Champagne to help toast to Valentine’s Day in Chicago, all while enjoying the sounds of our Latin world fusion band Jugo de Mango. Learn more about the menu here. Reservations are strongly recommended to ensure the best dining experience for you and your special someone on Wednesday, February 14th!
